PetKraze is a partnership of three individuals with a combined 35+ years experience in different facets of the pet industry.  Ron Temple, most recently Chief Operations Officer, for a local Pet Supply chain; has combined his talents to create a truly pleasurable pet shopping experience.

PetKraze Pet Foods & Supplies opened our first store in the Dutton Mill Shopping Center at the intersection of Dutton Mill & Pennell Roads (Rt 452) in Aston, PA on April 7, 2007.  We followed up 2 weeks later with a second store located in West Chester in the Westtown Village Shopping Center at the corner of routes 202 & 926 (right next to Acme).  Then, following a brief respite, we opened our third location in Chadds Ford on Route 202 North and Smithbridge Road (next to Brusters).

IceWorks Skating Complex

Lisa Shaw is the Special Events Coordinator, Advertising and Marketing Manager, Hotel Coordinator, and Figure Skating Director. She can be contacted at lshaw@iceworks.net or 610-497-2200 ext. 117 Monday through Friday from 9am till 5pm. IceWorks has been a member of the Aston Business Association since its beginnings, in 2008. I have been the liaison for IceWorks since that time. Just recently, I became a member of the Board of Directors for the Association. Prior to working at IceWorks, I was a teacher of the Hearing Impaired for 13 years in both New Jersey and Alabama. After having my two daughters, I started my own catering company and moved to Cleveland, Ohio and then to Thornton, Pennsylvania, which is now my home. I am the President of the IceWorks Skating Club. When I am not working, I enjoy family, baking and reading.

IceWorks is a four surface ice rink and entertainment facility with a Cafe and a Pub and Grill, as well as game room, Pro Shop, gym, and party rooms for every size party. Over 182 hockey teams and 250 figure skaters call IceWorks their home rink. Programs for skaters of all ages include, Learn to skate. Learn to Play Hockey, Public Skate, Icersize, Competitive Figure Skating and Youth and Adult Hockey. IceWorks is the home of the IceWorks Figure Skating Club, the Little Flyers, Delco Phantoms and the Dragons, as well as Neumann University’s NCAA winning team. Birthday Parties, Corporate Events and Custom Parties are available. Come to IceWorks for other types of Entertainment such as the circus, boxing, concerts, Cabaret Acts and much more.

Bill DeFeo, a Philadelphia native, is the Finance Director for Easttown Township in Devon, PA. He graduated from St. Joseph Prep and has an MBA from Drexel University, BS in Accounting from Drexel University and a Certificate from the University of Virginia. Bill has been an active member of the Aston Community since 1983 serving in many organizations as a coach and volunteer while he and his wife Maria raised three children. Bill has been a board member in the ABA for 16 years and has been the Treasurer the last 10 years. His hobbies include Singing, Acting, Wildwood & Cape May, Baseball, Christmas Collectibles and his Grandchildren.

Dream Stitches

Maggie is the coordinator for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors community outreach program. Neighbors Helping Neighbors has been setup to give temporary relief to families in Aston Township that have little or no means of support. The families we currently help, have fallen on tough times and may be out of work due to injuries, or have lost their jobs due to downsizing, but are currently pursuing employment. Our goal is to help people during their time of job searching to minimize their stress. If you know someone who may need some help, or if you'd like to help the organization with your time, talent or funds, please contact Maggie.

I have been a resident in Aston Township for 35 years. I have two sons and eight grandchildren! A member of The Aston Business Association for 6 years and a Director for the past 4 years. I represent The Aston Township Veterans Memorial Garden. As a Director and member of the ABA, I chair and coordinate ABA Community Day, along with being a part of the ABA Golf Outing, Night Out in Aston, and Curling Event at Ice Works.

I have 36 years of service in the healthcare industry with a Certification in Pharmacy.

A member of St. Joseph’s Church in Aston, volunteering on several committees. I am also a member of American Legion Post 926 Women’s Auxiliary, An appointed Board Member of The Aston Veteran’s Memorial Garden, Republican Woman’s Club of Aston and Delaware County, Committee Woman 4th Ward Aston, Delaware County Board of Library Director, all of which I proudly serve.
